Time trials, speed running, and any other timed events are now all possible on KeepTheScore, a simple online leaderboard maker.
Are you running an event that involves tracking times? Maybe you are running organizing Formula 1 competition or a tournament involving Mario Kart or GTA? We've got you covered! Our leaderboards and scoreboards now support times allowing you to track hours, minutes and seconds per player (or participant).
You can create a leaderboard, scoreboard or teams leaderboard, depending on your requirements. Go to this page for detailed explanation. For the time being, we'll assume you want to create a leaderboard like in the screenshot above.
Note that you do not need to create an account or provide your credit card details to create a leaderboard. Before you start you should decide whether you need your times in milliseconds or seconds. If you are not sure, choose seconds. You can always change this later.
Process as follows:
Please note that you must always enter times in the "full format". This means that even if you are entering
only seconds, you must provide 00
for the hours and 00
for the minutes.
Examples for seconds (HH:MM:SS format):
1:00:00
0:0:20
0:0:90
(this will automatically get converted to 0:01:30
)Examples for milliseconds (MM:SS.mmm format)
00:11.000
3:00.500
Please note that it's not possible to enter milliseconds at the moment. If this is a requirement of yours, please let us know!
Here are some more examples to give you some inspriation:
In motorsports, athletics, or any other racing event, the time taken by each participant to complete the race is the most critical metric to determine the winner. A leaderboard that shows seconds and milliseconds can help the audience understand the performance of each participant and their ranking in the competition.
In some online games, the time taken to complete a task or a mission can determine the player's ranking. A leaderboard that shows seconds and milliseconds can motivate players to complete the game as fast as possible and compete against each other to secure the top rank.
In coding challenges, the time taken to solve the problem is a crucial factor in determining the winner. A leaderboard that shows seconds and milliseconds can help the participants to understand how much time they need to improve their performance and compete against other participants.
In quiz competitions, the time taken to answer a question can determine the winner. A leaderboard that shows seconds and milliseconds can motivate the participants to answer the questions as fast as possible and compete against each other to secure the top rank.
In gymnastics competitions, the time taken by each participant to complete a routine is the most critical metric to determine the winner. A leaderboard that shows seconds and milliseconds can help the audience understand the performance of each participant and their ranking in the competition.
