KeepTheScore uses three link types to control access to your boards. Each link provides different permissions.
Sharing options for a board
Three Link Types
1. Public Link (View Only)
Perfect for:
- Spectators and fans
- Public displays and TVs
- Website embeds
- Streaming overlays
Access: View only, real-time updates
Available: Free and Pro users
2. Admin Link (Full Control)
Permissions:
- Change scores
- Add/remove players
- Modify all settings
- Complete board control
💼 Pro feature: Free users can use their admin link but cannot share it with others.
3. Restricted Link (Score Updates Only)
Perfect for:
- Game scorekeepers
- Assistant coaches
- Delegated score entry
Permissions:
- ✅ Update scores
- ❌ Modify settings
- ❌ Change players/teams
💼 Pro feature: Not available for sharing on free plans.
How to Share
- Open your board's control panel
- Click Share button
- Choose your link type
Pro users get:
- All three link types
- QR code generation

- Public link sharing only
